Resonant Frequency of a Rectangular Membrane

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I'm trying to calculate the eigenfrequency of a rectangular membrane. I have the multiphysics 4.3b and MEMS module. I'm modeling a simple rectangular membrane fixed on all 4 sides using structural mechanics. I'm not getting the correct answer. A colleague has modeled it using the membrane tool, which I don't have, and gets the correct answer. Why can't Eigenfrequency calculation in Structural Mechancis not work? What modifications can I make to get the result to match the membrane tool results?
