I'm new here as well as to the software. So i just want to know whether this software will be useful in robotics.

Hi,

It depends on which phenomena you want to model, but the first thing that comes to my mind is the Multibody Dynamics Module. Read more on www.comsol.com/multibody-dynamics-module .
