Using Comsol with Live-link for matlab to get a jacobian matrix?

Hey there,

I am currently working on a steady state resistivity/MMR problem, and Comsol has been great for a forward solver. I am wanting to do an inversion of data to get a model for the ground, and I am finding the optimization module does not give me enough control. (Can't punish non-flatness, and can't put in a depth weighting etc.) So I am curious if it will give me a jacobian (Sensitivity) matrix for specified points? I have read about a stiffness matrix, but I am not sure that is the same thing.

Thanks for your help,
Josh
