Which module are you using? Does the equations solved there really contain more information than traced ray?

Thanks for your reply. I used geometrical optics to solve it. But I can noly obtain the track of the ray. I wish to calculate the transmittance of every refracted and reflected ray.

I never used geometrical optics module, but I doubt it holds more information than ray trace.
