How to control nonlinear material property with optimization variables

Hi all,
Currently, I am dealing with an inverse problem. I need to fit some experimental data to a FE study.
Essentially, I need is to define optimization variables which will control the BH curve (values in the input table) of the material and so far I havent found easy way to to that.
I have tried to create global control variables, but it seems Comsol will not allow writing these in the HB table as a material property which could be optimized. Do you have any idea how could I go about achieving this?
Kind regards,
Nenad
