3D convergence error

I'm making a very simple 3D model where a think square piece of PVDF is acted upon my fluid in a tube. The PVDF is attached to the tube alone one edge. This seems to be creating a problem for Comsol. Any idea how i can fix this problem. I think the issue is that the points of the PVDF do not match with points on the tube.
