Difference in comsol concentration information

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I am experiencing a problem with concentration calculation in comsol. I want to calculate the concentration at channel output boundary. I am using transport of diluted species with laminar flow. When I use the boundary probe to calculate the average vaule of concentration of species c, I obtain the value 5326 mol/m3 which have a error relative to the theoretical value of 10.1 %. In the other hand, when I use the option Concentration of Species c, at Outflow 1 (chds.c0avg_c_out1) the concentration value is 5792 mol/m3 which have a error relative to the theoretical value of 2.2 %.

What should i be doing wrong? Why those difference for the "same" average concentration calculated at the same output boundary?

In my opinion both calculated values should be equal. So i assume I am facing an erro but i do not know how to solve it.

Could you please give me an ideia about it?

thank you very much
