Multiphysics Based Electrical Discharge Machining Simulation

This paper presents a Non Fourier heat conduction model to analyse the heat conduction from the electrical discharge plasma to the work piece in Wire Electric discharge Machining (EDM) process.A comparative study of the same with Fourier heat conduction is also simulated to study the difference between the two models. the results are validated by experiments in wire EDM process.
