Simulation of polymer composite filled with randomly distributed carbon nanotubes

Hello

I want to study DC electric property and electromagnetic properties of a polymer composite filled with randomly distributed carbon-nanotubes.

My questions are;
1. In 3D model, how can i generate 1000 carbon-nanotubes elements in a polycarbonate (Lxbxh= 10x10x0.4 mm, and Epsilon=3, mue=1, sigma=0) ?

2. How to change the spatial distributions of carbon-nanotube in polymer block?

3. Is it possible to use AC/DC model and frequency domain solver together to study DC conductivity, and S-parameter between 8-18 GHz range.

I am following paper, ''The electrical properties of polymer nanocomposites with carbon-nanotube fillers,'' for modelling of carbon-nanotube in polymer.

Thanks for reply !

Kind regards,
Raj

.
We should also have blog post on the subject of creating random geometries with the Application Builder shortly.
Best,
Jeff

Many thanks Jeff !
I will go through the links you shared.

Indeed, There should be some demonstration examples from the published (most cited) papers using the advance features of COMSOL.

Kind regards,
Raj
