Gas mixing with heat transfer simulation

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I am trying to simulate on a 3-dimension model, which contains two flow inlets for two different gases and one outlet for the mixing gas. As mixing happens, heat transfer in the gases and solid walls due to different inlet temperature. I want to figure out the temperature on the flow outlet.

My question is which flow model should I use? And also the heat transfer model?
If I choose Single Phase Flow, and set two inlets and one outlet in it, I can only use the only one gas (same material). Should I alter to a mixture model?
For heat transfer, I used the Conjugate Heat Transfer model, which gives solid and fluid heat transfer settings.
My version is 5.2a.

Thanks!
