Interaction of charge distribution with Electric Field?

Hi, I am trying to apply an electric field to a uniform distribution of charged particles (especially electrons) and see the alterations of the charge density distributions in the space (it is also very important that Coulombic interactions between electrons be considered). I have tried "particle tracing module" but the main problem here is that this module seems not to let defining a uniform charge distrbution in an enclosed box as the initial condition. I would really apprecite if anyone can guide me how to do this simulation in this module or any other module of the comsole.

Comsol Multiphysics is not a Particle-in-Cell (PIC) modeling code; you will only be disappointed if you attempt to apply it as if it were. The particle tracking feature is not equivalent to PIC modeling. That said, you might want to ask a Comsol representative if your particular problem of interest might still be effectively addressable, given sufficient simplifications. Also, you might want to investigate what you might be able to accomplish with the plasma physics module.

Hi, Thank you very much for your reply. It seems a bit strage to me as it seems to be a very basic kind of simulation. Electrostatic Module do not consider Coulombic interactions and particle tracing module has the problem I mentioned above. I will consider plasma module to see what happens.
