during solver process it "t" for the time value, if you need to select a solution at a given time you have the "at()" operators, see the doc

thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, this is not what I meant: I need the actual current time step (so delta t) used in the solver.

There are a few threads about this, and something has been added in the last released, check the release notes, but I haven't used it, so I cannot remember like that. (be sure you patch to latest update)

Hello Franz,
Perhaps we can go at this from a different angle. Why do you think you need to know what the time step is called? What are you planning to do with it?
I am asking this because I suspect that you may be trying to reimplement something that's already available in the software (like time derivatives for instance).
