Hi everyone,
First of all, I would like to thank you all for the work you are doing in this forum. As a beginner in COMSOL, this in an valuable tool.
I am currently undergoing my Master Thesis, where I have to verify the cooling performance of Cooling Ceiling Panels in a test room with the obtained data in a real climate chamber. To accomplish this task, I have to reproduce all the components and conditions in the room and apply their boundary conditions, as attached in the model.
After the first tests where I only could compute a time dependent study because the solution diverged, I noticed that I did not apply the convective heat flux to the Cooling Ceiling Panels, reason why I was obtaining temperatures upto 3000 ºC after 156 minutes.
However, I find two different problems when I want to apply this boundary conditions to the panels.
If I model the panels as a block, I cannot compute the study because there are 2 different domains (this does not happen with cylinder primitive for example.
If I model the panels as a work plane, the boundaries are shown as "not applicable" so it is impossible to apply the boundary condition to them.
How can I fix this issue? Have I detected the problem correctly or, on the other hand, I am still wrong with my guesses.
Thank you so much in advance for your time and attention.
