Plotting electric field lines near a heterogeneously pattered surface

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Commol community,

I am working on a simple project where coupled electrostatic (es) and transport of diluted species (tds) were solved near a hexagonally patterned surface. Red and blue represent positively and negatively charged surfaces (See attached picture 1). However, when I tried to plot the electric field lines along the intersection regions between oppositely charged surfaces, Comsol added those lines in two directions (red and blue curves) but not in the third direction. See attached picture 2. I am wondering if someone knows what might be wrong with my model.

Thank you:)
