Time dependent excitation of a coil in 3D

Hi,

I'm trying to simulate the energization of a coil. In 2D I use the Magnetic Fields interface together with a simple Electrical Circuit with a DC voltage source defined by Vsrc=if(t<1,-150[V/s]*t,-150[V]). The coil area in the 2D model is defined as a Multi-turn coil domain excitated by a circuit. Everything seems to work OK.

However, I am unable to reproduce the same model in 3D. I've tried using a Terminal in a Magnetic and electric field interface (like in the power_inductor.mph example), but COMSOL does not correctly solve the timesteps (however, it returns no error). Using the Magnetic field interface seems impossible because I cannot excitate it with a circuit. Any idea?

Another question: are all the physics taken into account in the solution of my 2D model? I mean if the eddy currents generated in conductive metals near the coil (because of the time-varying magnetic field) are also calculated.
