1D Plotting Help

I have a 3D model, where I am trying to plot 1D temperature profiles. When I select a 1D line plot, the only options are for edges in my model. I am trying to figure out how to create a 1D line plot that is not an edge where I can specify where in space I want to plot. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks

Hey!
When I switched to 4.2 I had the same problem.
Once you have your model, etc., under results you should right click on data sets and add a Parameterized Curve 3D.
Then it is more or less straightforward, you have your parameter and determine the equation of each coordinate.
Hope it helps!
