Hi
I simply want to model the Hall effect in a semiconductor. What is the best way to do that?
So far, I have built a 2D model with a rectangle of n-type InAs with the semiconductor module. I pass a current from one end to the other. I use the magnetism module to apply a background magnetic field perpendicular semiconductor plane. I run a stationary model. Unfortunately, the semiconductor and the external magnetic field don't seem to interact at all, there is no Hall voltage generated. What do I need to do to get this to work.
Any help is much appreciated. Cheers, Jan
