Water sessile droplet

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I am new to COMSOL. I am trying to determine the equilibrium shape of the sessile droplet, given the contact angle.

Based on the rising bubble example model, I was able to model the shape using oil and water droplet.

When I modified the material to air and water, the computation diverges and could not proceed any further.

I am not sure why that is so. Physics wise, given that I was able to compute for oil-water system, I assumed it should work for water-air system. Are there any other things that I may have missed out that would enable this computation to work?
