mapping volumetric heat data as boundary condition to a model

I am interested in modeling thermal stress as a result of volumetric heat (W/m^3) variation across the length of a geometry. I have the the volumetric heat vs length data but I couldn't find a way to apply this boundary condition to my model. Please, how can I map the data to my model?
