Equation of relative permitivitty as a function of refractive indices.

I would like to know why the equation is of relative permitivitty as a function of the refractive indices in the COMSOL differs from that of the literature.

epsilon_r: (n - k)² = (n² + k²) - 2ink - Comsol

epsilon_r: (n² - k²) + 2ink - Literature.

Hmm.
