Conditional ODE

Hello everyone,
I have the reaction kinetics of a reaction implemented using an ODE. How can I make sure that the ODE starts when a certain concentration is reached?
I tried adding a boolean in the source term of the ODE e.g. if(cA > 0.001, ODE,0). However, this start the ODE from the time the condition is reached e.g. t=2 sec. I want the reaction ODE to always start from t = 0 sec.
If anything is unclear, please let me know.
