Circles with a mapped mesh

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I have a heat transfer model where I need to make the mesh more efficient. Attached are two pictures. The first is my current mesh and the second is a picture from the forum that reprecents my goal. I have a 3d model where I first make a boundary mesh and then sweep that along the Z-axis.

In my model i have two concentric circles with a point in the middle in my boundary mesh: * The smaller circle should be meshed as coarcely as possible. * The bigger circle should be fine near the smaller circle and increasingly coarse along the radius. * Also the bigger circle should be coarse in the angle direction. I wish to mesh the circles with a mapped mesh like in the attached picture but can't figure out how to do that.

How do I replace the triangular meshes inside the circles with mapped meshes so that they get mapped along the radius?
