CIR coupling to pzd

Hello,

I'm trying to couple a piezoelectric model with an electrical circuit.
Applying a load on the piezo model, as I expect, high potential appears on a face and 0V to the opposite face.
Then I connected the piezo model with a circuit: with the External I vs U condition I realized a simple circuit with a resistor.
But in this way, the two surfaces of the piezo model go both to 0V and the current and the voltage across the resistor are 0.

I need help, thank you in advance!
