Hi, I have the same question as the linked question above which was unanswered. Why is current density A/m^3 instead of A/m^2?

I just checked that in my Comsol Multiphysics, in a 3D electrostatics example. The current density is, quite clearly, in units of A/m^2. So, I wonder what you are looking at? I encourage you to post your .mph file to the forum (and let the readers here know exactly where to look in it), so we can see these unexpected units.
