Flooding with COMSOL

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,
I want to simulate the inundation of the island due to water rise (as external parameter).
Can I do it using COMSOL?
If yes, Is It possible to combine it with the model of porous media?

regards
Sergey

I have the same question,

I know that for simulating flooding condition, we should use Navier-Stokes equations and if we want to do shallow water modelling, if we integrate the equation over depth, we will have St. Venant equations.

My question is that is there any tutorial or example in COMSOL that tried to do simulations for 2D or 3D model?

Hope to hear your answers.
Thanks
