How to connect a Truss to the Lumped Mechanical System (LMS) physics in COMSOL?

Hello,

I am working on a COMSOL model where I want to connect a Truss structure to a Lumped Mechanical System (LMS) physics, as shown in the attached figure. I am unsure of the proper method to link the truss element with the LMS domain.

What is the correct way to couple the Truss to LMS in COMSOL? Should I use Multiphysics couplings, boundary conditions, or some other approach?

Any guidance or example would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Aida,

You can use the Lumped–Structure Connection multiphysics coupling to connect the interfaces.
