I can not find how to define flow rule in plasticity module. Can user define flow rule in comsol? How to deal flow rule in comsol? Associated or Nonassociated? Anyone can give some information about that? Thanks.

Hi,

In the Plasticity node under Linear Elastic you can set the 'Yield function F' to 'User defined' and write any expression of the stresses. You will then be able to select the 'Plastic potential Q' as either 'Associated' or 'User defined'. In the latter case you will then be able to supply your own flow rule.

Seeing that you have tagged 'Porous Media', it should however be noted that the Poroelastic material model not supports plasticity.

Regards,
Henrik
