Gaussian shaped microfluidic channel

Dear all,

I am trying to make a Gaussian shaped microfluidic channel (in real life fabricated with powder blasting), but until now I am not successful.
Is there any way of creating a Gaussian surface which can be extruded into a 3D figure?
