Is it possible to set a minimum number of iterations?

Dear all,

I have a question that might sound weird at first.

I am doing a parametric study on conjugate het transfer of a parametrized geometry. Including gravity is necessary in this case and as it adds some more non-linearity into the model, I am ramping it stepwise using an interpolation function over the number of iterations using the niter_CMP variable.

For most cases, I need to ramp up gravity over 16 iterations to achieve good and save convergence. Other cases converge significantly faster, and in this cases it can happen that convergence between two steps is so fast that the last rapming step us skipped because the maximum residual is reached.

So I am looking for a possibility to tell the solver to continue iterating for at least 16 iterations even if the final residiual is already reached.

Is this possible? Any help is highly appreciated!

Nils :-)
