Question Concerning Valid Assumptions in Simplifying Magnet Field Simulation

I am looking for an informed opinion on how best to simplify the following simulation while retaining a high degree of fidelity. The high level question is:

Q1: Given two axisymmetric permanent magnets each rotating about their respective axes of symmetry at a non-negligible distance away from one another, may I model the force exerted between them using a simple magnetostatic simulation or must I include the time dependent terms?

Context: I have two permanent magnets associated with separate sensor suites on a small satellite that must be located at a non-negligible distance from one another within the bus to meet the volume budget. Both magnets are spinning about their axes of symmetry. To meet the mass budget, the mass of the bus frame must be optimized (reduced) while maintaining structural integrity. Since the magnets are spinning about their geometric and magnetic axes of symmetry, the bulk magnetic field between the two is not changing in time... correct? Will modeling this problem as a magnetostatic simulation result in an accurate assessment of the mutual force between the magnets for purposes of specifying the load applied to the bus?
