Principal Stress

Hi guys,

I like to find a principal stress in my model.
Does anyone know the difference of first, second, and third principal stress?

Hi

check the forulas used by COMSOL (equations in the "Options - Preferences" in V4, "Physics - Equation settings ..." in V3.5), as well as the doc (to an indexed search on the pdf, you find most therein
