Unable to email .mph files: "Exceedingly Nested"

I'm getting error messages about a virus when I try to mail .mph files. But the error message that comes back is "Winmail: Exceedingly Nested". I've dug around a bit, and it seems this is not exactly a virus, just that the .MPH file is confusing the virus checker and it gets into too many loops trying to check for a virus.
Has anyone else run into this ?? It's very frustrating.... Most likely it is because of some glitch in the security set-up on our Exchange Servers, but that is going to be hard for me to get corporate office to change.

hi John,
I think it is because the new mph files are actually zip files, and your antivirus does not like many nested files inside each other (to avoid DOS attacks). Maybe converting mph to another file format (like encryption) can be a workaround.

Hi John
but can you sed docx or other MS later version files, as these too are nested zip format files ?
Just check my own company mail, I can send a 2Mb mph to myself, but i does not mean I can send it "out of the house"
