GLPS Simulates Scenarios Imitating Realistic Lightning Current Pulses

Global Lightning Protection Services A/S（GLPS）是一家专门从事雷电防护的工程咨询机构。其目前的研究为保护风力发电机免遭雷击，因为雷击会干扰发电机壳体中的电子设备。

为了获到最佳设计，GLPS 创建了风力发电机结构的 CAD 模型，并将其导入到 SpaceClaim® Engineer 中调整微小细节。然后使用 COMSOL 的 LiveLink™ for SpaceClaim®，将该模型转移到 COMSOL Multiphysics 软件中，在软件中对一系列模仿现实雷电电流脉冲的场景进行了研究。

该模型允许 GLPS 改变接触点、计算电流振幅并计算了相应结构元件中的电流分布和持续时间。GLPS 的客户可以使用这项研究改进风力发电机机的设计。
