Senior Sales Account Manager

COMSOL is seeking an Account Manager to join its sales team in Bangalore. As part of our team, and in coordination with our technical experts, you will use interpersonal skills to help potential and existing customers understand how the COMSOL product line can address their needs and you will guide them to the proper purchase of our software products and services.

This position calls for strong business, sales and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team-oriented sales force. We sell to many of the top engineering and scientific teams throughout India. These organizations range from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to national labs to academic research teams and their activities cover a wide span of engineering disciplines. The successful candidate will be able to quickly grasp complex customer environments and requirements at such institutions, determine the viability of each opportunity, coordinate our response with COMSOL’s technical experts, articulate a concise business case for how COMSOL can help the potential customer and close the deal.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage Commercial sales accounts and meet revenue targets for territory
  • Develop new and existing leads through phone calls, web-based meetings, presentations, email correspondence, etc
  • Identify, prioritize, nurture and develop potential sales accounts
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction and provide a roadmap for growth
  • Identify customer business and technical challenges and ensure alignment of products and solutions offered

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience

Additional Requirements

  • Experience selling technology products at an enterprise level
  • Proven record of achieving sales related targets
