Modeling Granular Flow in COMSOL^®

The latest version of COMSOL Multiphysics^® introduced the Granular Flow Module, which enables engineers and researchers to simulate the motion and interaction of solid particles in bulk processes. Based on the discrete element method (DEM), the module calculates the movement of individual grains, such as powders, pellets, or tablets, to predict large-scale behavior like flow, packing, and mixing.

In this webinar, we will discuss the capabilities of the Granular Flow Module for analyzing the behavior of granular materials. We will look at different features within the module as well as some potential applications.
