Dr. Adersh Asok Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies at the National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST)

Dr. Adersh Asok is currently a scientist and professor at the Centre for Sustainable Energy Technologies at the National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST), Government of India. He specializes in solar energy systems engineering, applied optics, and green hydrogen production. He received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and is highly regarded for his expertise in sustainable energy technologies.

Dr. Asok has four patents and has authored more than 25 research papers, contributed to two international reports in the agrivoltaics and building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) technologies sector, and engaged in numerous international collaborations. Dr. Asok's professional accomplishments have garnered prestigious awards such as the: National CEIBIC Cleantech Innovation Challenge 2023, DST-Solar Challenge Award 2023 (team achievement), National Research Innovation Challenge 2022, DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award in Engineering 2016, and IIT Bombay PhD Thesis Excellence Award for the academic year 2014–2015. His commitment to advancing sustainable technology and clean energy research is apparent through his commercial contributions: He has licensed proprietary technologies derived from his research to industry partners.
