Solution Not Converging

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everybody,

I want to simulate the deformation of a 3D structure as it bears a certain boundary load and makes contact with another 3D structure (the deformation of a silicon probe as it contacts the brain at a 45 degree angle).

After going through the work flow, I performed a Stationary Study, and the solution will not converge.

Is this because there singularities in the model? Or is there something wrong with how I defined some of the boundary conditions, loads, definitions, etc.?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Regards,
Jasmine
