can we model a thin plate with comsol to compare with mindlin plate

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

hello!
I'd like to model a plate by using the thick plate theory and the thin plate theory, while i can only find the mindlin plate in comsol, someone tells me to model the thin plate by using the shell element, while the element still contains the transverse shear deformation, this is similar with the mindlin plate, so it is no use to compare with the theories. I wonder if someone else can give me some advice? thank you!
