Fatal error when starting program. License_error

Hi,

Whenever I try to run COMSOL Multiphysics, a fatal error occurs: License_error.

I've attached screenshots of the error pop-up, logs file, notepads in the logs file, license details and a possible solutions page.

I have tried the solutions on said page and reinstalled COMSOL. Nothing's working out.

Any ideas?

Hello Abdul Hakim,

The error messages suggest that you are trying to install version 5.3a with a version 5.3 license.dat file. Make sure to use the version 5.3a file that was sent to the point of contact of record for your license.

On a networked license, the license file needs to be updated both on the clients and on the license server.
