solving algebraic equations

Hi,
I am trying to solve an algebraic equation. i tried using global equations since my equations have dependent variable this option ruled out. I tired to use distributed ode and coefficient form pde but i don't know how to implement that. I initially tried entering my equation in the source term and giving all other terms zero(since my equation doesn't have any differential terms) but it is not converging. Any help is higly appreciated.
