Turning off automatic remeshing in parametric sweep

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,

is it possible to turn off the automatic remeshing for every step in a parametric sweep run?
I would like to only create the mesh once in the beginning and use the same mesh for every step of the parametric sweep.
This would save a lot of time and also elements..

Thanks a lot and best regards,
Juergen

Hi,

I am doing parametric frequency response studies and didn't observe remeshing from step to step. Is your parameter some way affecting geometry or the mesh specifications?

Cheers
Edgar

Hi

Then use the Study Extension Continuation Sweep and not an Explicit Parametric Sweep (the latter runs through the mesher), and you should perhaps turn of the default "automatic mesher" and convert it to a user mesh

Good luck
