Hello sir I sathishkumar doing a project on vibration energy harvester with two number of PZT mounting. Initially I modelled cantilever energy harvester with two piezo electric patch. I calculated open circuit voltage and closed circuit voltage in two ways 1. Using single floating potential for both PZT patch Expression i used for open circuit voltage is abs(es.fp1.V0) for closed circuit voltage abs(cir.R1_v) for closed circuit power abs(cir.R1_vcir.R1_i) Results I have got, Open circuit voltage 43.25 V; closed circuit voltage 30.45 V; circuit power 0.927 mW 2. Using two floating potential ---one for each PZT Expression i used for open circuit voltage is abs(es.fp1.V0+es.fp2.V0) for closed circuit voltage abs(cir.R1_v) for closed circuit power abs(cir.R1_vcir.R1_i) [while calculating closed circuit voltage, I could not sure which floating potential is to connect with circuit (External I- Terminal) also I could not connect both floating potential in circuit.] So the results I have got in this way (External I- Terminal if I connect FP-1) Open circuit voltage 86.8 V; closed circuit voltage 27 V; circuit power 0.73 mW (External I- Terminal if I connect FP-2) Open circuit voltage 86.8 V; closed circuit voltage 15 V; circuit power 0.223 mW So results for this two way of solving the energy harvesters are differing. Please give me an idea in which method I have to proceed or if above are wrong please suggest the correct methodology to solve this problem. Thank you With Regards Sathishkumar C
