Using variable valid at one boundary as physics parameter in different domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am trying to set up a simplified model using the concentration of one particular species at a domain boundary (the electrode) as a parameter for the electrolyte conductivity of the adjacent electrolyte domain.

However, as the concentration is not defined within the electrolyte domain the variable definition is not valid. Is there a way of achieving this? I do not want to modell any kind of transport within the electrolyte domain. I thought about using probes, but somehow this does work out either.

Thank you very much,
Matthias
