Solving a non-linear 4th order PDE

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to solve a non-linear fourth order PDE in 2-dimensions. I used the example models from the previous discussion threads to learn how to set it up. I have a question about the solution - there seems to be some ringing or oscillation in the solution that doesn't go away with making the mesh finer. I know that the equations are correct and I have set up the problem correctly. One variable has the right behavior, the other doesn't.

Please help.

THanks,
Padmini
