What are the steps of modelling Laser keyhole welding ?

I have applied heat source using COMSOL software. Now, I have read many papers but don't know what is next step to make the keyhole in my workpiece. As of now, I am just trying to model the basic laser keyhole welding process. I would be a lot appreciated if someone would show me the next step or give me the whole one good picture. Since I am a beginner in this field. I cannot provide the exact conditions. Thank you.
