What boundary condition should I select for the Boundary between Aluminum and PZT, so that vibrations generated in Aluminum gets transferred to the PZT

Hi

the default solid continuity should do the job, if you are in assembly mode you need to apply a pair solid continuity

Hi

you will only get defaqult continuity on internal boundaries for the same physics, when you mix several physics on some but not all boundaries, the handling of internal/external bondaries can become cumbersome, then working in assembly and or union, and cleverly grouping your domins with an explicit geoemtrical union might help.

But also I strongly recommend to use a newer version, v4.0 was the first issue ofter a major change everythng was not ironed out. I would say from 4.2 his is the case ,we have now a more advanced tool than th older 3.5a
