Simulating electric field distortion

Hi,

I am looking to determine the slight polarization of some polymers under a electric field. Do you think it is possible to do it with the COMSOL multiphysics?

P.S.: The idea is to produce 2D plot (sqrt(es.Ex*es.Ex+es.Ey*es.Ey) with and without the polymeric material within the field, and compare them.

Hi

why shuld it be possibe ?, but you will need to write out your equation a bit, then it should, you have access to the details of the equations when you wish. But I would use rather the latest version and notthe early4.0.
