Mass flow rate - Inlet condition

Hey all,

I am looking simulate multiphase flow in an electrolyser, where the mass flow rates at the inlet and along the electrodes are known. (kg/s)

As a first step I would like to make a simple simulation in 2D, but when trying to implement these mass flows as inlets/boundaries, the only option is a velocity profile plus a mass flux. (m/s) and (kg/m^2s). I am a little confused on how to translate my mass flow into these two properties. An explanation of how comsol treats these inflow properties would be greatly appreciated!
