evaluating T(t) at several points through a volume

Hello all,

I have a finished time dependent heat transfer model that is solved and I wish to evaluate the temperature over time at a large number of points throughout the volume (specifically along one xz plane). I have been attempting to do something similar to the "Parametric and Auxiliary Sweep Features" section of this blog post: https://www.comsol.com/blogs/maximum-evaluations-on-parallel-sections/ except with a time dependent study instead of stationary as the second study. However this seems to read room temperature throughout the simulation, when evaluating the same points manually using the first study results yields temperatures of up to 500 K. Since the amount of points is significantly large, defining normal 3d cut points and evaluating them all manually and concatenating them seems to be more trouble than its worth but it is the eventual fall back plan currently.

Basically at the end of the day I wish to end up with a table that is:

x y t T

for a large number of x/y pairs, so if there is also a better way of going about this I am open to alterante solutions.

thank you all for your time. John
