pipe flow modeling

Hi,

I have simulated a 2D pipe flow modeling. in initial condition, I have given velocity as zero. Then at inlet I gave inlet velocity at 1 m/s with one step function. After simulation, at time zero the model shows some velocity in the pipe fluid. I am wondering as I have given initial velocity zero, it should show zero velocity at time zero, but it is not the actual result.

Any help with with matter will be appreciated.
